Job Requirements At Quest Global it s not just what we do but how and why we do it that makes us different With over 25 years as an engineering services provider we believe in the power of doing things differently to make the impossible possible Our people are driven by the desire to make the world a better place to make a positive difference that contributes to a brighter future We bring together technologies and industries alongside the contributions of diverse individuals who are empowered by an intentional workplace culture to solve problems better and faster Key Responsibilities Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support our electronics product line in the aerospace industry The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electronic manufacturing processes production optimization quality standards AS9100 IPC and cross-functional collaboration for new product introduction NPI This role is pivotal in driving production efficiency maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring the manufacturability of aerospace electronic systems Key Responsibilities Develop evaluate and improve manufacturing methods and processes for electronic assemblies PCBAs wiring harnesses electronic modules Collaborate with design engineering during NPI to ensure design-for-manufacturability DFM and design-for-testability DFT principles are applied Prepare and maintain detailed work instructions process flow diagrams PFMEAs and control plans Lead and support root cause analysis RCA corrective and preventive actions CAPA related to manufacturing non-conformities Support ERP SAP systems to manage BOMs routings and process change control Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement Kaizen 5S value stream mapping Perform process capability studies and lead efforts in yield improvements Ensure compliance with aerospace standards AS9100 IPC-A-610 620 FAA EASA regulations Coordinate with Quality Supply Chain and Production teams to resolve production issues and meet delivery schedules Participate in internal and external audits and support documentation for regulatory compliance Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Electronics Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field 4 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role within the aerospace or high-reliability electronics industry Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes SMT through-hole conformal coating soldering standards Familiarity with aerospace quality systems and documentation practices AS9100 NADCAP Hands-on experience with tools such as PFMEA SPC Six Sigma Green Belt preferred and lean methodologies Proficiency in CAD tools AutoCAD SolidWorks and PLM ERP systems SAP Oracle Windchill Excellent analytical troubleshooting and communication skills We are known for our extraordinary people who make the impossible possible every day Questians are driven by hunger humility and aspiration We believe that our company culture is the key to our ability to make a true difference in every industry we reach Our teams regularly invest time and dedicated effort into internal culture work ensuring that all voices are heard We wholeheartedly believe in the diversity of thought that comes with fostering a culture rooted in respect where everyone belongs is valued and feels inspired to share their ideas We know embracing our unique differences makes us better and that solving the worlds hardest engineering problems requires diverse ideas perspectives and backgrounds We shine the brightest when we tap into the many dimensions that thrive across over 21 000 difference-makers in our workplace Work Experience Preferred Qualifications Certifications such as IPC-A-610 620 Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing Experience with RF high-speed digital or power electronics manufacturing Exposure to Industry 4 0 technologies MES digital work instructions automation Knowledge of FAA PMA MRO or DO-160 DO-254 environments
