Job Description The Data Center Operation Lead will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our data center located in Mumbai. This role requires a proactive individual with substantial experience in managing data center environments, ensuring optimal performance, and leading a team of technicians. Responsibilities - Manage day-to-day operations of the data center, ensuring high availability and performance. - Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software components. - Implement and enforce data center policies, procedures, and best practices. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support project deployments and troubleshooting. - Monitor data center infrastructure and services, addressing issues proactively. - Lead and mentor a team of data center technicians and engineers. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations regarding data security and management. Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 6-8 years of experience in data center operations or a related field. - Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking. - Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). - Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). - Proficient in monitoring and management tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix). - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong leadership and team management abilities. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
