Stores & Material Planning Manager

Job Title Stores Material Planning Manager Description We are looking for a Stores Material Planning Manager to manage all aspects of material handling at our thermoware manufacturing facility The role includes responsibility for stores management as well as key planning functions such as material requirement planning purchase indenting and production coordination The ideal candidate should have strong experience in inventory control inter-department coordination and ERP systems Responsibilities Oversee receipt inspection storage and issuance of raw materials bought-out parts SS bowls O-rings etc consumables and packaging Prepare weekly and monthly material requirement plans for all departments molding foaming finishing printing packing Raise timely indents to the Purchase team and follow up for deliveries based on lead times and stock levels Coordinate closely with Production QC and Purchase to ensure material availability aligns with production plans Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP Tally and conduct regular stock reconciliations Generate daily weekly reports stock position shortages critical materials and slow-moving inventory Ensure compliance with internal controls housekeeping 5S and audit requirements Qualifications Graduate or Diploma in Management Logistics or Supply Chain 6-10 years of experience in stores or material planning in a manufacturing setup plastics consumer goods or related industries preferred Strong understanding of MRP inventory control and vendor coordination Hands-on experience with ERP systems preferably Tally Prime or equivalent Excellent communication follow-up and coordination skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of plant-level material readiness Reporting To Plant Manager
