Data Science Senior Developer

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Data Science Senior Developer with 5-7 years of experience to join our growing analytics team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Microsoft's data platform ecosystem and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions that drive business intelligence and analytics initiatives. Key Responsibilities Data Analytics & Visualization - Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI - Create compelling data visualizations that translate complex data into actionable business insights - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs - Optimize Power BI performance and implement best practices for data modelling Data Platform Management - Develop and manage data solutions using Microsoft Fabric for unified analytics - Design and implement data Lakehouse architectures and manage fabric workspaces - Utilize Fabric's capabilities for data engineering, data science, and real-time analytics Data Integration & Pipeline Development - Build, deploy, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) - Design data integration workflows to move and transform data from various sources - Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data integration issues - Implement data validation and quality checks within pipelines Automation & Scripting - Develop PowerShell scripts for data processing, automation, and system administration tasks - Automate routine data operations and maintenance tasks - Create scripts for data deployment and environment management Data Management - Work with Microsoft Dataverse to manage and organize business data - Design and implement data models within Dataverse - Integrate Dataverse with other Microsoft ecosystem tools - Ensure data governance and security compliance Required Qualifications Experience & Education - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field - 3-5 years of hands-on experience in data science, business intelligence, or data analytics roles Technical Skills - Power BI: Advanced proficiency in creating reports, dashboards, DAX calculations, and data modelling - Microsoft Fabric: Experience with Fabric workspaces, data engineering, and analytics capabilities - Azure Data Factory (ADF): Strong experience in building and managing data pipelines, data flows, and integration workflows - PowerShell Scripting: Proficiency in writing scripts for automation, data processing, and system management - Microsoft Dataverse: Experience in data modelling, entity relationships, and integration Additional Technical Requirements - Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation - Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling - Knowledge of cloud computing principles, preferably Microsoft Azure - Experience with version control systems (Git) - Familiarity with data governance and security best practices Preferred Qualifications(Optional) - Microsoft certifications (Power BI, Azure Data Engineer, Fabric Analytics Engineer) - Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics - Knowledge of machine learning concepts and implementation - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies - Previous experience in a similar industry or domain Soft Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Collaborative mindset and team player attitude -
