Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to design and implement robust, scalable, and secure enterprise data solutions. You will play a key role in shaping our data strategy across both on-premise and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure data services, Data Fabric architectures, and modern data governance practices.

Key Responsibilities
Architect and manage data platforms on-premises and in the cloud, covering batch and real-time ingestion, processing, storage, and access.
Design and implement Lakehouse and Data Fabric architectures to unify and modernize enterprise data infrastructure.
Lead the development of enterprise data models, polyglot storage, and data access layers.
Ensure robust data governance, security, metadata management, and compliance frameworks.
Develop and oversee ETL/ELT pipelines with scheduling, monitoring, and workflow orchestration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, tech leads, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.
Define architecture best practices and mentor engineering teams in their implementation.
Leverage modern DevOps practices including CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Required Skills & Qualifications
10–14 years of overall experience, with 7+ years in data architecture or similar leadership roles.
Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services including:
Azure Data Lake Storage
Azure Synapse Analytics
Azure Databricks
Microsoft Fabric
Proven experience in:
Designing and implementing Lakehouse architectures
Architecting Data Fabric and/or Data Mesh solutions
Strong expertise in:
SQL programming, schema design, and multi-dimensional data modeling
ETL/ELT pipeline development (batch and streaming)
Solid understanding of:
Data governance, security, compliance (e.g., RBAC, data masking)
Cloud infrastructure components like IAM, SSO, monitoring tools (Log Analytics, etc.)
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred / Nice to Have
Experience with:
Microsoft Purview
Event-driven architectures and microservices
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect).
