Senior Java Engineer

Job Description Ciklum is looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join our team full-time in India. About the role: As a Senior Java Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Responsibilities: - Proactive Senior Software Development Engineer for a world class distributed agile development team in the commercial virtual payments space - Working with AEM 6.5 and above code base and technology stack - Hands-on developer on Adobe AEM and one or more Adobe marketing cloud products solutions built upon the Adobe Experience Manager/CQ5 platform - Work with a team of talented engineers to develop high performance, high volume end to end applications using Java, Angular and Content Management System (CMS) AEM - Expertise in building AEM components, templates, workflows and OSGi modules using JSP as well as HTL with 100% hands-on role - Work closely with technical leads and product management technical to help define features and user stories - Contribute to day to day system development and maintenance activities of the team to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and help create solutions with high level of innovation, cost effectiveness, high quality and faster time to market - Provide technical training to the other team members - Actively look for opportunities to enhance standards and improve process efficiency - Support service in production - Communicate directly with team leaders to ensure iterative delivery dates across a continuous development lifecycle are met, while identifying emerging issues Requirements: - Expert with different application patterns to implement different types of business processes (e.g., APIs, event-driven-services, batch-services, web-applications, big data) - Experience on: - AEM and related tech stack - Java, REST API, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Jenkins, Spring, Oracle, GIT, Microservices, Messaging Framework, Angular/React - Min 6-8 year of relevant exp in AEM and Java Stack experience - A record of successful delivery of large software applications - Experienced: - in advanced code development, code review, and construction and use of automation frameworks - working on Microservices and Cloud Native Architecture - with secure coding standards (e.g., OWASP, CWE, SEI CERT) - delivering major pieces of functionality on time and on-budget - solving scale, resilience, security, and robustness problems - working with DB like Oracle/Postgres - with different SDLC practices (Waterfall/Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) and the delivery situations they are used for - in using basic engineering principles for building and running mission critical software capabilities (security, customer experience, testing, operability, simplification, service-oriented architecture) - You have good communication skills both verbal and written What`s in it for you - Strong community: Work alongside top professionals in a friendly, open-door environment - Growth focus: Take on large-scale projects with a global impact and expand your expertise - Tailored learning: Boost your skills with internal events (meetups, conferences, workshops), Udemy access, language courses, and company-paid certifications - Endless opportunities: Explore diverse domains through internal mobility, finding the best fit to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies - Care: We've got you covered with company-paid medical insurance, mental health support, and financial & legal consultations About us: At Ciklum, we are always exploring innovations, empowering each other to achieve more, and engineering solutions that matter.
