Job Overview A Shopkeeper / Helper at a Panipuri and Chat Centre Shop plays a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the shop. Customer Service Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude. Take customer orders for panipuri, chats, snacks, and beverages efficiently. Serve food items quickly while maintaining quality and hygiene standards. Handle customer feedback and resolve basic queries or complaints politely. Assist customers in selecting menu items when required. 2. Food Preparation & Serving Help in preparing panipuri fillings, chutneys, masalas, chats, and other food items as per recipes. Ensure that all ingredients are fresh, clean, and well-stocked. Maintain proper proportions of flavors and garnishes for consistent taste. Serve food attractively and hygienically to enhance customer satisfaction. 3. Inventory & Stock Management Monitor stock levels of ingredients, snacks, beverages, and packaging materials. Inform the shop owner about low-stock items to ensure timely replenishment. Assist in receiving and organizing daily supplies. Reduce wastage by following proper storage and usage practices. 4. Cleanliness & Hygiene Keep the shop, counters, and kitchen area clean, sanitized, and organized at all times. Follow food safety guidelines and maintain hygienic preparation practices. Dispose of waste properly and ensure a tidy work environment. Regularly clean utensils, equipment, and serving counters. 5. Cash & Payment Handling Handle cash transactions, UPI, or card payments efficiently. Provide accurate change to customers and maintain records of daily sales. Assist the shop owner in preparing basic daily sales summaries. 6. Equipment Handling & Maintenance Safely operate kitchen equipment like fryers, burners, tongs, and serving tools. Report any equipment issues or damages immediately to the shop owner. Ensure regular cleaning and maintenance of utensils and machines. 7. Supporting Overall Operations Assist the shop owner in managing peak-hour rush effectively. Help with food packaging for takeaway or delivery orders. Cooperate with other team members for smooth coordination. Maintain a positive, helpful, and hardworking attitude throughout. Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification No formal education required. Basic reading and writing skills are an advantage. Experience Freshers are welcome. Prior experience in a food stall, chat centre, or small restaurant will be preferred. Age Requirement Must be 18 years or above.
