A Java with Node.js Developer job description outlines the responsibilities and qualifications for a role requiring expertise in both Java and Node.js for backend development with Ansible. Key Responsibilities: - Design and Development: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust web applications using both Java (e.g., Spring Boot) and Node.js. - Implement and integrate RESTful APIs for various front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). - Collaboration and Integration: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (front-end developers, product managers, QA) to define, design, and deliver new features. - Integrate applications with databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL), third-party services, and other backend systems. - Code Quality and Optimization: - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. - Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and consistency. - Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security. - Troubleshooting and Maintenance: - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing applications. - Monitor application performance and implement necessary improvements. - Staying Current: - Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in both Java and Node.js ecosystems. - Required Skills and Qualifications: - Technical Proficiency: - Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Hibernate). - Strong proficiency in Node.js and related frameworks with Ansible (e.g., Express.js, NestJS). - Experience with database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). - Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Problem-Solving and Communication: - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a team. - Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Relevant professional experience in backend development using Java and Node.js, ansible.
