Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Manager with strong technical expertise in US Partnership taxation, particularly within the financial services domain. The role involves managing compliance, advisory, and client relationships while leading a growing team.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver a full range of Partnership tax services for financial services clients in compliance with US tax laws and regulations.
- Provide tax planning and review of complex Form 1065 tax returns for Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, Venture Capital Funds, Fund of Funds, and other complex structures.
- Review and manage tax returns and supporting workpapers.
- Ensure compliance with:

- Form 1065, Schedules K-1, K-2, K-3
- State and Local Tax compliances
- International filing compliances

- Lead and manage client relationships on day-to-day tax matters, supporting service delivery and identifying opportunities for extended services.
- Research and consult on technical matters and special projects.
- Manage, mentor, and develop staff, including participation in performance reviews.
- Collaborate effectively with global counterparts using technology-enabled tools and processes.

Must-Have Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- EA / CA / CPA certification (mandatory).
- Minimum 6+ years of progressive US/Global taxation experience, with at least 1 year at the Manager level.
- Proven expertise in reviewing Partnership (1065) forms for financial services clients.
- Demonstrated stability in career history (no frequent job changes).

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

- Prior experience working directly with US/global counterparts.
- Exposure to clients in Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and Fund of Funds.
- Background in Big 4, mid-sized, or boutique consulting firms.

Interview Process

- Two rounds of interviews, conducted in person on the same day.
