Job Description

- Lead and manage the R&D team to develop new products and improve existing ones.
- Oversee the development of innovative solutions to meet client and market requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of R&D projects into manufacturing processes.
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost analyses, and risk assessments for new initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all R&D activities.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of R&D projects against set objectives.
- Stay updated on technological advancements and trends in the automotive industry.
- Provide strategic direction for long-term R&D goals and initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of R&D should have:

- A M.Tech / PhD degree in Polymer Science, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, or Surface Coating Technology
- Track record of taking products from concept pilot scale-up market launch.
- Prior exposure to global markets / MNCs will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of product development and process optimization
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- More than 15 years of experience
