We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Fraud Model Management and Governance Lead Business: Inlt Wealth & Premier Banking Principal Responsibilities - Responsible for oversight and performance of Operational Analytics supporting all regions. Define and design KPIs as per business needs, typology and analysing MI trends and themes in a dynamic business environment - Lead the implementation of Analytic frameworks and solutions designed to optimize relevant Business Operations to streamline processes, simplify operations, improve customer experience, and aid business growth and mitigate risk. - Manage CTB initiatives to optimize relevant Ops Analytics process, ensure Enhanced Control, reducing operational expense. - Sees the bigger picture and assesses relationships between recommended projects and business performance. Good understanding of business domain, functional goals. - Ensure the integration of feature work is sequenced and prioritised correctly. - The role holder will be expected to understand key business goals & priorities at top of the house level and distil it down to specific goals for specific business partners. - Need to understand business and operations to initiate projects from GAC Ops analytics and assign work to all his team members. - Given the dynamic and ever-changing global business situation, the incumbent of this role is expected to surmise the business priority and enable the effective delivery of projects and analysis and meet the ever-changing business priorities. - Facilitates iterative delivery and ensures there is a continuous flow of work across business and IT. - Work with Team to ensure operational issues/defects are resolved and addressed in a timely manner. - Engage vendors, discuss demands and ramp-up strategies, and align to FCS Strategy. - Responsible for planning and overseeing project and program level reporting. - Responsible for end-to-end management and monitoring of project governance and control. - Responsible for carrying out ad-hoc projects under the direction of Department Head. - Establish quality standards in terms of timeliness of the projects and accuracy of the deliverables and deployments to Countries/Regions. - Owns delivery of high-quality modules for the business stakeholders across one of more regions - Adhere strictly to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with Company and regulatory standards, policies and practices, report control weaknesses, compliance breaches and operational loss events. - Complete other related duties as assigned and support the Company's Diversity programs. - Ensure adherence with all the applicable compliance policies (Data security policy, AML, operational risk, Functional manual, Group Compliance Manual, Audit recommendations, Internal Control requirements, regulatory guidelines etc.) and business standards of Organization as applicable. Take timely action on Audit comments and be able to demonstrate compliance with Internal controls. Executive Communication & Influence - Exceptional ability to communicate complex analytical findings and strategic recommendations clearly and persuasively to senior leadership and cross-functional partners. - Strong negotiation and influencing skills to champion analytical initiatives and drive adoption within the operational unit. - Experience presenting to and interacting with senior management. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management - Closely interact with Operations leads (and teams), analytics leadership, regional stakeholders across markets to understand the analytical requirements with minimal handholding and support analytical plan/approach independently to build analytical solutions. - Expertise in building strong relationships and collaborating effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery. - Ability to navigate organizational complexities and drive collaboration to achieve shared objectives. Qualifications Strategic Analytics & Data Leadership: - Vision & Strategy: Proven ability to define, communicate, and execute an analytical strategy that directly supports and drives objectives within the specific operational domain. - Model Lifecycle Management: Expertise in leading the end-to-end development, deployment, validation, monitoring, and ongoing optimization of advanced analytical models in a production environment. - Data Governance & Quality: Deep understanding of data management principles, data governance, and ensuring high data quality for robust analytical insights within the specialized domain. - Technology Acumen: Strategic understanding of relevant data platforms (e.g., cloud environments like GCP, AWS, Azure), big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop), and analytical tools (Python, R, SQL, SAS). Ability to guide technical architecture and tool selection. Advanced Analytical Methodologies - Statistical Modelling: Deep expertise in advanced statistical modelling techniques (e.g., regression, classification, time series analysis, survival analysis). - Machine Learning: Proven ability to lead the application of various machine learning algorithms (e.g., Decision Trees, Random Forests, Gradient Boosting, Neural Networks) to solve complex business problems. - Experimentation Design: Experience in designing and interpreting A/B tests and other experimentation methodologies to evaluate and refine strategies. - Understanding and integration of Generative AI concepts, large language models (LLMs), and their potential applications in areas within operational analytics. Preferred Qualifications - Operation Analytics/ Model Governance Role - Postgraduate degree in quantitative disciplines (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science). - Innovation/Data Science Role - Graduate / Postgraduate with experience in data science specializing in a relevant field such Machine Learning, Data Mining, Text Mining, Artificial intelligence/Computer Science, NLP and deep learning - At least 13 years of hands-on experience in Data Analytics / Operation analytics/ Work-force management/ Capacity Planning / Statistical modelling & Machine Learning / Visualization & Dashboarding / Java - Web Development / DevOps Tools. - Prior experience in retail financial services with knowledge of retail processes. Brings deep functional expertise across Collections/Underwriting/Fraud with a strong understanding of operational processes, regulatory considerations and customer life cycle management in domain. - Strong Analytical Skills with business analysis experience or equivalent. In-depth knowledge and understanding of financial services and banking operations. - Experience in managing cross function and cross regional stakeholders. - Strong communication, leadership, decision-making skills. - Customer centric approach with focus on delivering good customer outcomes while managing multiple, complex dimensions across the credit and fraud process cycles - Demonstrated experience in navigating complex organizations and influencing senior management - Ability to frame and deconstruct ambiguous problems and drive execution and delivery - Experience in systems, operations, technology and change management with the ability to act swiftly and think innovatively - Additional Notes | Model Governance Lead Role Establish And Enforce Model Governance - Lead the implementation and enforcement of the Model Risk Management (MRM) framework, policies, and standards specific to all fraud models. - Ensure all model activities, from development to demise, comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements. - Performance Monitoring: Design, implement, and oversee the ongoing monitoring of fraud model performance, stability, and effectiveness in production. - Documentation & Inventory - Ensure the maintenance of complete, accurate documentation and the central model inventory for the fraud domain. - Prepare and present model risk and performance reports to senior management and relevant governance committees.
