Lab Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION Designation: Lab Analyst Function: Research & Development Reports to: Technical Manager 1. ROLE PURPOSE Responsible for working on technology projects in the field of bituminous products. This position would support initiatives on new product development, Cost optimization initiatives and customer specific needs 2. SPAN OF CONTROL Supervision: (Positions reporting directly to the incumbent) 3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Manage the development / modification of products based on market feedback & trends. - Develop product formulations, customize Global technologies. - Supervise products and their ingredient composition as per predefined specifications. - Commercial scale up - Builds and helps in implementation of programs that systemically build technical capability in the organization - Develop products and applications adapted to customer needs - Execution of field trials for new application products - Provide application training to staffs/customers/dealers/applicators - Ensure all field & customer related product application technology activities are aligned to sales, operations and marketing activities - Recognize customer (and end-user) needs and develop/create application options that match the requirement - Develop processes & formulations for manufacturing products and establish process parameters. - Conduct trials, identify deviations & make relevant modifications to stabilise products. - Implement HACCP/HAZOP in the processing chain. Qualification - Diploma degree in Engineering or Technology (Civil) with minimum 2 yrs post qualification experience in road construction industry. b) Special Skills & Knowledge: - Energetic, proven skills, well organized and self-directed. - Good communication skills - Knowledge of the product, marshal design, pavement design and industry
