Job Title: Security Expert Department: IT / Network Security Location: Gandhinagar, Gujarat Experience Required: Minimum 5+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar role Qualification: - BE / B.Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field - CISSP or equivalent Network Administrator–level certification (or higher certification) Job Responsibilities: - Plan and implement comprehensive security policies and practices for the entire IT infrastructure. - Perform regular signature updates, manage antivirus and patch updates, and ensure blocking of unwanted network traffic. - Manage and maintain network security operations on a day-to-day basis. - Monitor and respond to flooding, DoS, and intrusion attempts in real time during office hours. - Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and implement necessary preventive measures. - Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure network integrity and data protection. - Maintain updated documentation for all security configurations, incidents, and resolutions. Skills & Competencies: - Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and VPNs. - Hands-on experience in security monitoring tools and incident response management. - Proficiency in patch management, endpoint protection, and access control mechanisms. - Ability to analyze logs, identify threats, and provide corrective actions promptly. - Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure in critical situations.
