Please find below the details for the open position of Network Engineer – Passive & Active Infrastructure at Vikhroli-Mumbai. Position: Network Project Engineer – Passive & Active Infrastructure Department: Network Operations Work Mode : Work From Office Location: Vikhroli - Mumbai Experience: 3–5 years Mandatory Skills Required (Active & Passive Infrastructure) Key Responsibilities: - Manage and execute passive infrastructure projects, including structured cabling, fibre routing, and installation of racks and patch panels. - Perform configuration of Cisco/HP switches (VLAN setup, STP, port configuration, and port security). - Configure Wi-Fi Access Points (Cisco/Aruba) and coordinate with the central IT team for network provisioning. - Conduct site surveys, maintain documentation (BOQs, layouts, heatmaps), and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. - Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for smooth project execution. Required Skills: - Proficiency in structured cabling (TIA/EIA standards) and fibre routing. - Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst or HP Aruba switches. - Knowledge of OTDR and Fluke testing. - Familiarity with SolarWinds or similar network monitoring tools. - Excellent communication and coordination skills.
