About Advith ITeC: Advith ITeC is a venture that merges finance consulting with technology, with the word ITeC standing for Information Technology enabled Consulting. We are building various tech tools to make finance consulting more accessible and have a dedicated team of individuals that are trained on tasks related to finance consulting and compliance management. About the Role We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Finance to join our growing team. This role involves overseeing end-to-end finance operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, managing internal finance function and supporting process automation initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a knack for working in a tech-enabled consulting environment. Key Responsibilities - Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and monthly closing. - Prepare or Review financial statements, MIS reports, budgets and variance analyses. - Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely collections of fees receivable. - Support audit and compliance requirements (Statutory, Internal, GST, TDS, and ROC). - Ensure adherence to internal controls, confidentiality and organizational standards. - Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. - Supervise executive and provide review support. - This is a role for the company and not to work for the Clients of the Company. - Oversee submissions to be made against notices, if any received from tax & regulatory authorities. - Work with the HR team for processing of salary and labour law compliances Required Skills & Competencies - Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance. - Proficiency in Zoho Books, or other ERP/Accounting platforms. - Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; familiarity with automation tools is an advantage. - Strong communication. Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in commerce, Finance, or Accounting. - CA Inter with articleship experience would be preferred - 3 - 6 years of experience(excluding articleship experience) in accounting, financial reporting, or finance operations. - Prior experience in outsourcing or consulting will be an added advantage.
