Engineer - Devsecops

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support architecture for complex applications ensuring they meet business requirements Implement best practices in coding with support of AI Perform the deployment monitoring and maintenance of platforms Conduct work activities using SRE principles such as resilience metrics capacity planning toil Incident management and security Manage cloud infrastructure and services e g AWS Azure Google Cloud Work closely with cross-functional teams developers operations QA etc Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Collaborate with other engineers to ensure seamless integration and functionality Manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment CI CD pipelines Develop scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency Build and help transform container and serverless architectures such as AKS Azure Kubernetes Service EKS Elastic Kubernetes Services Docker and Azure Functions Ensure software and platforms comply with security standards and regulations Implement security best practices and conduct regular security assessments Adhere to access controls and protect sensitive data Document processes procedures and infrastructure setups Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends Continuously improve systems processes and methodologies Participate in project planning and execution Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget Understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine requirements Ensure customer satisfaction through reliable and high-quality deliverables Explore generative AI technologies to enhance software capabilities Deploy AI models for automated content generation and predictive analytics OTHER DUTIES Performs other duties as assigned by management On call rotation responsibilities with the Service Delivery and Operations Team JOB QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCERequirements Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems or a related field Knowledge of AI and Generative AI technologies Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the DevSecOps engineering discipline prefer enterprise engineering experience or equivalent Experience with Application and Infrastructure Operations Proficiency in scripting languages e g Bash Python for automation tasks and infrastructure management Working knowledge of programming frameworks e g NET JAVA and application development Working experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code IaC management including writing and maintaining modules Experience with CI CD tools and practices e g Azure DevOps Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions including creating and managing pipelines Experience with cloud platforms e g AWS Azure GCP including designing and implementing cloud services and architectures Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced evolving environment ensuring platform reliability and scalability Thought Leadership and Soft skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a willingness to learn and contribute to team success Travel requirementsMinimal domestic travel requirementsPhysical DemandsNormal professional office environment The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by most people assigned to this job Theyre not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities and requirements
