We are looking for a 2D Interior Designer to join our team at The Interior Crew. The role focuses on designing and executing functional, aesthetic, and budget-friendly spaces. You will be involved in planning layouts, selecting materials, coordinating with vendors and clients, and ensuring smooth execution of projects.Key Responsibilities Design Drafting & Layout Preparation Create detailed 2D drawings, floor plans, elevations, and sections for interior design projects. Convert conceptual sketches and design briefs into accurate CAD drawings. Ensure layouts are practical, functional, and aesthetically aligned with client needs. Client Interaction & Requirement Analysis Understand client requirements and project objectives. Modify drawings and layouts based on client feedback. Provide visual presentations to help clients better understand design proposals. Coordination with Architects & Interior Designers Collaborate with architects, senior interior designers, and project managers. Ensure technical accuracy of drawings before execution. Prepare working drawings for contractors and vendors to follow. Material & Furniture Planning Indicate furniture placement, finishes, and material specifications on 2D layouts. Assist in space utilization and optimization through design planning. Ensure compliance with ergonomics and design standards. Site Support & Execution Assistance Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to ensure the drawings are executed properly. Update and revise drawings based on site conditions and changes. Provide technical clarifications to contractors during project execution. Documentation & Reporting Maintain a systematic database of all design drawings and revisions. Prepare design presentations and drawing sets for client approval. Document changes, approvals, and updates throughout the project lifecycle. Skills & Competencies Required Technical Proficiency Expertise in AutoCAD and other 2D drafting software. Ability to produce precise, detailed, and scaled drawings. Familiarity with architectural and interior design standards. Creative & Analytical Skills Strong sense of space planning and visualization. Ability to balance aesthetics with practicality. Attention to detail in every aspect of design. Communication & Collaboration Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain design concepts clearly to clients and contractors. Team player, capable of working with architects, designers, and vendors. Organizational Skills Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong documentation and record-keeping ability.
