About the team:

The Volume and Performance Team with in PSO QA Org is a rapidly growing team of experts dedicated to delivering outstanding Testing services and ensuring high-quality services for the Manhattan Active product suites. Currently consisting of 8 members, the team is projected to expand to 12-15 professionals by 2024, enabling them to cater to clients across the globe. Comprised of experienced performance testers and QA specialists, they utilize their extensive knowledge to optimize active products with extensions performance according to customer defined SLA. With their global presence and unwavering commitment to excellence, the team provides personalized support and fosters success for clients in the fiercely competitive market.

What You Will Do:

- Collaborate with Performance Engineers to understand performance requirements and objectives.
- Design and develop performance test scenarios and scripts based on performance requirements.
- Execute performance tests using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner
- Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
- Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot performance issues and recommend solutions.
- Document performance test results and findings for stakeholders and team members.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of performance testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in performance testing and engineering.
- Assist in performance tuning and optimization efforts under the guidance of Performance Engineers.

What You Will Need:

- BE/BTech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in performance testing/Engineering domain
- Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner
- Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in performance test scripting and scenario design.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot performance issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Familiarity with Java Microservices based application.
- Must have Automation experience using Jenkins and Shell-Scripting.
- Experienced with Grafana Monitoring and Dashboards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Lean / Agile attitude
- Proactive and results-oriented
- Effective documentation and communication skills are a must.
- Strong logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to collaborate with different teams.
