Role Type: Freelance (Project-Based) Location: Remote What you will do - Perform Structural, Thermal, CFD, and Fatigue Analysis in ANSYS. - Optimize designs made from steel, aluminum, and plastic materials. - Run full simulation workflows: model cleanup, meshing, setup, solving, and reporting. - Provide engineering insights to improve performance, safety, and manufacturability. - Prepare detailed simulation reports with clear results and recommendations. - Collaborate with our design team across robotics, consumer products, and industrial systems. Required Skills - Strong expertise in ANSYS Workbench (Structural, Thermal, CFD, Fatigue). - Solid foundation in mechanics of materials, heat transfer & fluid dynamics. - Ability to independently handle end-to-end FEA/CFD projects. - 2–5+ years of experience OR a strong simulation portfolio. - Familiarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks is a plus). Nice to have - Experience with nonlinear, dynamic, or vibration analysis. - Knowledge of DFM for sheet metal, plastic molding, machining, or casting. - Background in robotics or industrial product design.
