Position: Quality Assurance Engineer / Engineer Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Work Mode: Remote

Experience: 6+ Years

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, automate, and execute unit and functional tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software products using C# and Python.
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring robust and scalable backend services.
- Build, optimize, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs using industry-standard tools and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and product teams to identify test requirements and implement effective test strategies.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for test automation and API integration scripts.
- Participate in code reviews, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes to enhance development and testing workflows.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely feedback to improve product quality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and testing trends, advocating for best practices within the team.

Required Skills and Experience

- Deep expertise in C#, including software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles.
- Proven experience developing, automating, and executing unit and functional tests.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation and integration purposes.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, xUnit, or similar for C#; Pytest or others for Python.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), test lifecycle (STLC), and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker).
- Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.
- Familiarity with database technologies and writing SQL queries.
