About The Role A PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) in a CBSE school is responsible for teaching students from classes 9 to 12, adhering to the CBSE curriculum guidelines. The role emphasizes academic excellence, student engagement, and holistic development. What You Will Be Doing - To plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons for senior secondary students in a specialized subject. - To develop and update lesson plans, annual plans, and learning materials in alignment with the curriculum. - Set, administer, and grade assignments, tests, and exams to evaluate student progress. - Provide academic support, mentor students for exams and competitions, and guide them on future academic paths. - Maintain student records, monitor progress, and communicate with parents about performance. - Assist with extracurricular activities and school events. - Conduct extra classes for students who need additional support. Who we are looking for: Qualifications & Requirements Education: Master's degree in the subject to be taught and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). Additional Skills: Proficiency in English. Some positions may also require passing the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). Experience: 3+years in the same position.
