Job Description Software Requirements: - Extensive experience with Cypress, Selenium, and other automated testing frameworks. - Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and scripting languages. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent. - Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience with API testing tools like Postman. - Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices. - Experience with version control systems like Git. Overall Responsibilities: - Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality software releases. - Participate in requirement analysis, design discussions, and provide input from a QA perspective. - Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution. - Continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness of the QA process. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA and automated testing. Experience: - Minimum of 5+ years of experience in automated testing with a strong focus on Cypress. - Proven track record in a QA role with hands-on experience in automation testing. - Experience in testing web applications and APIs. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Professional certifications in QA/testing (ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus. QUALIFICATION: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
