Business Analytics Analyst

US Retail Bank Analytics team is seeking result driven analyst to join our team and contribute to the goal of building profitable US Retail Bank for Citigroup Retail Analytics team works with senior business leadership to drive significant impact on initiatives to help build and grow the consumer business across different areas of Retail Bank the core focus areas include customer acquisition retention and cross-sell optimization all of which are essential to building a sustainable and profitable customer base Responsibilities Build Test and Learn frameworks evaluation of Champion Challenger Strategy identifying opportunities to optimize Marketing expense Revenue through target offer optimization Lead analytics to deepen core areas for Retail Bank business through different analytical solutions that translate data into customer behavioral insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies and clearly and effectively communicate all findings to business partners and senior leaders Identify data patterns trends and provide insights to enhance business decision making capability in business planning process improvement solution assessment etc Drive enhanced ROI on expenses by building and maintaining attribution models for branches Responsible for driving branch analytics through use of geo-spatial data and advanced analytics for operational optimization of physical network and strategic planning May be involved in P Ls and responsible for analyzing the performance of campaign ad-hoc analytic requests and providing recommendations for increasing campaign profitability Measure the impact prior and after rolling out strategies by providing actionable overall market and customer insights to address key strategic questions for Retail Bank products Analyzes external and internal customer data using Hive Python Excel etc to identify areas of opportunity across acquisition retention and cross-sell initiatives Collaborate with and advise Marketing Pricing and Decision Management teams to drive strategies that add to revenue and growth for Retail Bank Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made demonstrating consideration for the firm s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws rules and regulations adhering to Policy applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior conduct and business practices and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency Qualifications Proficiency in data extraction and manipulation from large datasets using Python Hive SQL Strong skills in data analysis reporting and visualization using Excel Experience working with CRM data customer segmentation or campaign performance analysis is preferred Strong analytical thinking attention to detail and ability to translate data into business insights Effective communication skills for presenting finding to non-technical stakeholders Experience with customer segmentation lifetime value modelling or campaign analytics is a plus Education Master s Degree in Statistics Economics Mathematics and related field 3-5 years of hands-on analytics experience preferably in a financial services environment Job Family Group Decision Management Job Family Business Analysis Time Type Full time Most Relevant Skills Please see the requirements listed above Other Relevant Skills For complementary skills please see above and or contact the recruiter Citi is an equal opportunity employer and qualified candidates will receive consideration without regard to their race color religion sex sexual orientation gender identity national origin disability status as a protected veteran or any other characteristic protected by law If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use our search tools and or apply for a career opportunity review View Citi s and the poster
