Maintain a polite, professional, and friendly demeanor at all times. Order Taking & Coordination Accurately take food and drink orders and enter them into the POS (Point of Sale) system. Serving Food & Beverages Deliver dishes and drinks promptly, ensuring correct presentation. Serve meals in the correct order (starters, main course, desserts). Refill water glasses and beverages as required. Clear used plates, cutlery, and glasses efficiently. Upselling & Recommendations Suggest menu items, drinks, or desserts to enhance customer orders. Inform guests about special promotions, chef’s recommendations, or seasonal dishes. Encourage upselling of premium items to increase revenue. Maintaining Cleanliness & Safety Standards Keep tables, chairs, and dining areas clean and presentable. Ensure cutlery, crockery, and glassware are polished and hygienic. Follow food safety and hygiene regulations strictly. Report any spills, hazards, or broken equipment immediately. Billing & Payment Handling Prepare accurate bills and present them to customers. Process payments by cash, card, or digital methods. Provide receipts and return correct change if required. Team Collaboration Work closely with chefs, bartenders, and other wait staff to ensure smooth operations. Support colleagues during busy hours and share responsibilities.
