Senior Modeler

The Senior Modeller is responsible for creating developing and managing accurate 3D models and associated drawings for structural steel projects This role involves coordinating with engineering and detailing teams to ensure completeness constructability and adherence to project specifications The Senior modeler also guides junior modelers and supports continuous improvement in modeling standards and workflows Key Responsibilities - Develop update and manage detailed 3D models for steel structures using software such as Tekla Structures BOCAD Advance Steel - Generate shop drawings erection drawings and material take-offs from 3D models - Ensure all models and drawings comply with project specifications applicable codes and client standards - Work collaboratively with checkers detailers and project managers to resolve modeling or coordination issues - Identify and report discrepancies found in design drawings raise and track RFIs when clarifications are required - Support adherence to the company s Quality Management System QMS and contribute to workflow improvements - Mentor and support junior modelers in developing technical and software skills - Assist in developing and maintaining modeling templates libraries and standard practices - Provide modeling-related support to the checking team to ensure high-quality deliverables Required Skills Qualifications - 5 years of experience - Strong command of Tekla Structures BOCAD Advance Steel or similar modeling platforms - Good understanding of fabrication practices steel member behavior and general construction workflow - Ability to interpret structural and fabrication drawings accurately - Strong problem-solving and coordination skills especially in resolving model conflicts - Effective communication skills and capability to collaborate across teams - Proven experience guiding or mentoring junior modelers is preferred Key Performance Indicators KPIs - Accuracy and completeness of 3D models and derived drawings - Reduction in revisions during checking and fabrication stages - Timely delivery of modeling tasks within project schedule - Effectiveness in mentoring and knowledge sharing - Adherence to internal modeling standards and QMS processes Job Type Full-time Pay 40 000 00 - 100 000 00 per month Work Location In person
