At Lilly we unite caring with discovery to make life better for people around the world We are a global healthcare leader headquartered in Indianapolis Indiana Our employees around the world work to discover and bring life-changing medicines to those who need them improve the understanding and management of disease and give back to our communities through philanthropy and volunteerism We give our best effort to our work and we put people first We re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world Job Title Security Platform Engineer III Location Bangalore Splunk Logging Service Role Overview As a Security Platform Engineer III you ll play a key role in enhancing and supporting our enterprise logging service You ll be responsible for implementing new features managing onboarding requests and providing technical support on escalated issues This position requires strong problem-solving abilities excellent communication skills and deep expertise in security platforms and logging technologies like Splunk Key Responsibilities Design and implement new features within the existing logging service Manage and fulfill onboarding requests for the Logging Platform Respond to and resolve escalated issues related to logging and security tools Deliver timely troubleshooting support with a focus on root cause analysis Document solutions and contribute to a centralized knowledge base Communicate professionally with customers and keep them informed of case progress Collaborate with cross-functional teams including senior engineers service leads and tech leads to translate business requirements and resolve complex issues Support training sessions and workshops to continuously enhance team capabilities Stay current with industry trends and best practices in security operations What You Should Bring Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology Cybersecurity or equivalent experience Hands-on expertise in Splunk Sentinel or equivalent enterprise logging solutions - 6 years of work experience Familiarity with DevOps tools e g JIRA Confluence Foundational knowledge of cloud practices Strong troubleshooting experience in complex environments Understanding of networking fundamentals TCP IP DNS DHCP Proficiency in at least one scripting language e g Python PowerShell is a plus Certifications such as CompTIA Security CISSP CCSP Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently Collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous learning Customer-centric approach with a focus on service excellence Core Attributes Strong communication skills both written and verbal Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently Proficiency in the logging domain and familiarity with enterprise security platforms Team-oriented with a proactive and adaptable attitude Passion for continuous growth and innovation Lilly is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to actively engage in the workforce ensuring equal opportunities when vying for positions If you require accommodation to submit a resume for a position at Lilly please complete the accommodation request form for further assistance Please note this is for individuals to request an accommodation as part of the application process and any other correspondence will not receive a response Lilly does not discriminate on the basis of age race color religion gender sexual orientation gender identity gender expression national origin protected veteran status disability or any other legally protected status WeAreLilly
