Job Description

- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs using Azure Fabric and Databricks.
- Optimise data integration processes to ensure accuracy and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Implement and monitor data quality checks to maintain the integrity of datasets.
- Work with large-scale data storage and processing systems effectively.
- Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows for structured and unstructured data.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data-related issues.
- Create and showcase dashboards using PowerBI.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Data Engineer should have:

- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with database technologies like SQL, NoSQL, or similar systems.
- Familiarity with data warehousing tools and cloud platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the manufacturing industry is a plus.
