Job Description

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the FTTH rollout in designated towns and launch areas, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Design and validate FTTH ODN (Optical Distribution Network) architecture tailored for each launch location.
- Prepare and validate BOM & BOQ for FTTH deployments.
- Create fiber optic drawings and designs , considering cable type, allocation, capacity, and jointing schematics for Access OSP routes.
- Conduct and oversee site surveys , including meetings with Local Cable Operators (LCOs) and local stakeholders.
- Guide survey teams for accurate information capture and survey completeness.
- Perform feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis for network deployment.
- Carry out CAPEX & OPEX calculations to support effective planning and future O&M activities.
- Finalize and implement OLT (Optical Line Terminal) sites and ensure proper integration into the network.
- Coordinate with Infrastructure Providers to obtain RFAI (Ready for Active Installation) status.
- Track network rollout progress executed by franchise partners and ensure adherence to defined timelines and quality standards.
- Ensure accurate network inventory updates in GIS tools and systems.
- Calculate OSP and ODN link budgets for optimized network design and performance.
- Identify project-level obstacles and proactively drive resolution.
- Maintain close coordination with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Frequent travel to rollout locations and surrounding areas as required.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong technical background in FTTH networks and fiber deployment.
- Proven experience in network planning, ODN design, and rollout execution .
- Excellent analytical skills and experience in performing cost and feasibility analysis .
- Strong partner/vendor management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills .
- Ability to identify challenges and take ownership to resolve them effectively.
- Proficient in network planning tools , GIS systems, and project tracking.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field .
- Prior experience working with telecom operators and large-scale vendors .
- Knowledge of industry standards, FTTH planning tools, and regulatory compliance .
