Job Description Hi, We are hiring for a Sr. Accounts officer for our client, a Semi conductor industry in Coimbatore location. Job Overview This senior-level position requires a work experience of 7 to 10 years. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting and compliance, managing budgets and forecasts, and ensuring accurate account reconciliation. The ideal candidate should possess strong skills in SAP ERP, QuickBooks, and advanced proficiency in Excel. Qualifications and Skills - A minimum of 7 years of accounting experience with progressive responsibility, including leadership roles. - Proficiency in SAP ERP software, with the ability to navigate and utilize its various modules efficiently. - In-depth knowledge of QuickBooks for managing financial transactions and generating reports effectively. - Advanced proficiency in Excel, particularly in using complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools. - Strong financial reporting skills to prepare accurate statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. - Proven experience in budget forecasting to assist in strategic financial planning and decision-making processes. - Excellent knowledge of tax compliance regulations to ensure the organization meets its statutory responsibilities. - Proficient in performing accounts reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies timely. - Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to ensure adherence in financial practices. Roles and Responsibilities - Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP. - Manage the budgeting process, including the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts. - Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to maintain accuracy and identify any discrepancies early. - Ensure compliance with tax regulations, preparing and filing necessary documentation timely. - Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for strategic decision-making. - Oversee the implementation and utilization of SAP ERP for efficient financial management. - Regularly update and manage QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records and reporting. - Collaborate with external auditors for the annual audit and address any queries or issues they may identify.
