Join us at Landis+Gyr, where we manage energy better About the Role : The purpose of this role is to design, develop, and debug embedded software and applications for real-time or Linux-based systems. The engineer will be responsible for implementing and optimizing firmware, working with communication protocols, integrating low-level drivers, and ensuring reliable system performance through hands-on debugging and profiling tools. The role supports the development of network-enabled embedded products, with added advantage for candidates experienced in wireless protocols, C++, and Linux multithreaded applications. Areas of Responsibility / Tasks: - Exp 1 3 Yrs. - Experience in C/C++ on embedded platform (C++ will have extra advantage) - Experience in debugging (hands on any of tool: Profiling, valgrind, gdb, kdb, IAR Debugging, LA etc.) - Experience in development of any network protocols (Advantage - Wireless protocols) - Experience in developing application / firmware on any RTOS or Linux - Linux Application Development (use of multithreaded application, IPC) (Advantage) - Understanding of any Low-level drivers UART/I2C/SPI etc. Behavioral Competencies - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Highly driven, positive attitude, team player, self-learning, self-motivating and flexibility - Flair for creativity and innovation Qualifications And Additional Requirements - Relevant tertiary qualification - B. E, B. Tech, M. E, M. Tech - Exposure to Metering is an added advantage. - Experience 1 to 3 years.
