QA Automation Test Engineer

Location: Chennai, India
Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days/week from office)
Experience Required: 9–12 years
Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled QA Automation Test Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in automated testing and performance validation, who can ensure the reliability, accuracy, and robustness of complex simulation systems. You will play a critical role in validating system behavior and supporting continuous quality improvements.

Your role:

- Validate system performance, reliability, and accuracy of digital twin simulations.
- Design and implement automated test suites using industry-standard tools.
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure scalability and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to support agile workflows.
- Identify, document, and track defects and ensure timely resolution.
- Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance product quality.

Your profile:

- Strong engineering background with 9–12 years of experience in QA and testing roles.
- Proven experience in Digital Twin technologies, preferably in maritime or industrial domains.
- Proficiency in automated testing tools:

- Selenium
- Postman

- Experience in performance and load testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in agile teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
