Testing Engineering Specialist

We are currently seeking a Testing Engineering Specialist to join our team in BANGALORE, Karntaka (IN-KA), India (IN). 1. Peer review test cases for junior QA Engineers 2. Approve test plans and strategies for junior QA Engineers 3. Create test strategies, test plans and test cases for medium scale products 4. Efficiently execute test cases across all functional areas of applications 5. Execute test plans and test cases ensuring that they meet provided requirements and/or features of the releases 6. Work with Software Development Engineers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented 7. Responsible for successful execution and informing team and managers of obstacles, issues, and risks 8. Conduct ad-hoc testing and complete defect validations, being an expert in breaking the application 9. May lead small teams to accomplish assigned projects 1. Functional Tester with atleast 5 years of experience in Testing 2. Good Experience in any of the Test Management tools (Jira, ALM etc) 3. Basic SQL knowledge 4. Excellent communication skills with willingness to speak up in meetings to share issues, observations, and ask clarifying questions 5. Quick learner and ability to learn new applications and process flows 6. Understanding of credit cards is an added benefit but not a requirement for someone eager to learn 7. Ability to support multiple applications and understand the end to end flows 8. Attention to detail is important for capturing results and having the capability to identify potential issues 9. Experience working with Agile teams, attending all Agile ceremonies planning, daily scrum call delivery and reporting sprint level deliverables 10. Prepare and Maintain triage documentation and knowledge articles for new and existing applications 11. Work closely with clients, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions 1.
