About the Role We're looking for a multilingual, creative, and tech-savvy Video Editor who can transform raw footage into visually compelling short-form stories for our fast-growing storytelling ecosystem Dashreels and Frameo. This role extends beyond video editing it involves language localization and translation. Whenever a script includes English or Hindi narration, you will be responsible for translating it into Malayalam (and occasionally Tamil or Telugu) and integrating the localized narration into the final edit. If you thrive on storytelling through Reels, Shorts, and TikToks, have a sharp sense of rhythm and emotion, and are comfortable using AI tools to enhance your workflow, we'd love to have you on our team. You'll create cinematic, story-driven videos that blend motion graphics, multilingual voiceovers, and emotional resonance connecting audiences across India's diverse languages and cultures. Key Responsibilities - Edit and produce dynamic short-form videos optimized for platforms such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok. - Translate and adapt Hindi/English narrations into Malayalam, ensuring cultural and emotional accuracy. - Design and integrate motion graphics, visual effects, and animation elements to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement. - Utilize AI-based editing tools (e.g., Frameo) to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. - Collaborate with writers, creative producers, and marketing teams to ensure visual and narrative consistency. - Stay updated with the latest trends in short-form content, AI-driven editing, and storytelling formats. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines. - Maintain organized project files, naming conventions, and version control for smooth handoffs and revisions. Qualifications - Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar professional editing tools. - Strong understanding of motion graphics, visual composition, and pacing in short-form storytelling. - Proven experience producing short-form content. - Fluency in Malayalam and working proficiency in Hindi and/or Tamil/Telugu. - Ability to translate and localize dialogue while preserving emotional tone. - Strong attention to detail with an ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. - Curious to explore and integrate AI-powered creative workflows. - A storytelling mindset with an eye for rhythm, transitions, and visual emotion.
