We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Content Writer to craft compelling and SEO-friendly product descriptions for our Product Detail Pages (PDPs). This role plays a crucial part in enhancing customer engagement, improving conversions, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. Key Responsibilities - PDP Content Creation: Write engaging, informative, and conversion-driven product descriptions for PDPs across multiple platforms. Develop unique selling propositions (USPs) and key benefits for each product. Ensure clarity, conciseness, and brand consistency in all content. - SEO Optimization & Best Practices: Incorporate relevant keywords to improve search engine ranking while maintaining natural readability. Follow SEO best practices to enhance content visibility. Optimize product titles, meta descriptions, and alt texts for images. - Research & Benchmarking: Conduct competitor analysis to understand industry trends and best practices. Research product specifications, features, and customer needs to craft compelling narratives. - Content Structuring & Formatting: Create scannable and easy-to-read content using bullet points, subheadings, and formatting best practices. Develop structured content that aligns with the PDP layout, including product highlights, technical details, FAQs, and care instructions. - Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with the merchandising, design, and SEO teams to align content with visual and strategic objectives. Coordinate with production and category teams category heads to ensure accuracy and completeness of information. - Performance Tracking & Optimization: Analyze content performance using metrics like engagement rates, bounce rates, add to cart etc. Revise and update content based on data-driven insights and customer feedback. Key Qualifications & Skills Experience: 3-5 years of experience in content writing, preferably for e-commerce or digital merchandising. Writing Skills: Exceptional command over English with strong grammar, storytelling, and persuasive writing skills. SEO Knowledge: Understanding of keyword optimization, metadata, and search-friendly content structuring. Research Ability: Strong analytical skills to study market trends and competition. Detail-Oriented: Ability to create precise and accurate content while maintaining a creative touch. Tools Expertise: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), Google Analytics, SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush), and AI-powered writing tools is a plus. Adaptability: Ability to write for different product categories and adapt to brand tone & voice guidelines.
