Job Description We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SolidWorks, along with proven experience in designing machinery. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of components, assemblies, and complete machines for plastic processing applications. - Create 3D models, detailed engineering drawings, and BOMs using SolidWorks. - Improve existing designs for performance, cost efficiency, and manufacturability. - Collaborate with the production, R&D, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and smooth execution. - Conduct design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection. - Provide technical support during manufacturing, testing, and commissioning. - Review and validate designs created by junior team members. - Ensure adherence to industry standards and company design guidelines Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in machinery design (preferably plastic processing machines). - Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks (mandatory). - Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, fabrication processes, and machine components. - Good understanding of GD&T, engineering standards, and material selection. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
