JOB DESCRIPTION: Role: Technical Manager / Sr. Technical Lead– (Architect with Interior Design Technical knowledge) Roles & Responsibilities: - Implementing the company Standards for the Technical Design Department & supervising the Technical Team in the preparation of Schematic Design, Detailed Design and Issue for construction drawings, for Villas, High rise residential and commercial buildings, Amenity buildings Etc. and make sure that the department Functions Smoothly as per HOD Direction. Accountable for the smooth functioning of the team and to ensure all Technical Procedures, documentation and BIM standards are followed on a regular basis. - Managing and Guiding the Project Leads and BIM Architects / Engineers for the preparation of SD, DD, IFC, based Concept Design & ensure of all the details required for construction in Coordination with the HOD . Accountable for the IFC drawing program and relevant coordination as well as ensuring the project delivery as per program for assigned projects. - Assigning projects for the Bim Architects / Engineers & Monitoring the preparation of Working Drawings with sufficient construction details (Project wide general supervision) for Head office approval. Accountable for Managing, supporting and guiding the staff on all aspects of drawing preparation in BIM and maintaining a high quality in the drawings for the assigned projects and team. - Ensure that all info from Head office is saved in server to initiate and manage the project. Also monitoring and guiding the Technical Staff on server filing and correspondence to Head office. Responsible for the Technical Server / Bim 360 filing and configuration for the assigned projects - Monitoring the preparation of different types of schedules which are required for different kind of projects (Doors, Wardrobe, Kitchen, Vanity etc) Responsible for following the correct formats based on project requirement. - Giving input on developing the details to make the project cost effective & preparing the sketches for the preparation of the IFC drawings in coordination with the HO Team and ID HOD . Responsible for the cost-effective and easiest construction methodology based on the company standard details. - Managing and guiding the preparation of technical drawings for ID with proper MEP, Façade, structure Coordination along with Head office team. Responsible to make sure the coordination is done properly so that no rework or mistakes happen on site. - Managing as well as guiding the teams. Responsible for training the team on ID materials and construction methodologies based on Company Standards and design intent and mentoring them to do proper interior detailing using BIM technology. Responsible to make sure the team is technically Knowledgeable in interior fit out and other trade coordination - Checking the drawings before issuing them to the Head office team. Giving expert judgement to the staff involved for preparation of IFC in coordination with Head office team leaders. Responsible for the correctness of the IFC drawings prepared by the team - Having Regular meetings, discussion and correspondence with head of office Team leads or managers regarding the unresolved details and design issue. Responsible for clearing the issues with proper guidance. - Evaluating the staff based on feedback from the team leaders as well as directly checking them to ensure that the staff productivity is ensured. Accountable for proper evaluation of staff based on the work capacity on Quarterly basis. - Accountable for the preparation of the reports as required by the HOD. Qualifications: - B. Arch (Architecture) & M. Arch (Architecture) - Software Knowledge - Revit / BIM, CAD, Sketchup, Office (Word excel and Power point) - Experience: 10+ to 15 yrs
