Job Objective To oversee and implement Environmental Health and Safety EHS policies within the organization ensuring compliance with industry standards legal regulations and company guidelines Key Responsibilities EHS Compliance Implementation Ensure compliance with safety health and environmental regulations Implement and maintain EHS management systems ensuring adherence to SAP Safety Health Environment standards Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification for plant operations Develop and execute safety programs training sessions and awareness campaigns for employees Operational Process Safety Monitor and ensure the implementation of safe work practices in all operational activities Conduct safety audits inspections and investigations to identify and mitigate potential risks Ensure proper handling storage and disposal of hazardous materials as per regulatory guidelines Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans Technical System Management Utilize SAP for EHS data management reporting and analysis Maintain updated documentation on EHS policies procedures and compliance reports Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve EHS performance and sustainability initiatives Required Qualifications Skills Educational Qualification B Tech B E in Chemical or Environmental Engineering Additional certifications in ADIS Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety PDIS Post Diploma in Industrial Safety preferred Technical Skills Strong knowledge of SAP systems related to EHS Expertise in safety health and environmental management within an industrial setup Soft Skills Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to analyze risks and implement corrective actions Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
