Job Overview

We are YP Club, a dynamic company based in Dubai, seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our team in Hyderabad, India. This role is critical to developing a brand new application, with finalized designs ready for implementation. The primary focus will be on React Native for the mobile app and React.js for the website and admin panel. With at least 6 years of experience, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in startup environments, delivering high-quality work independently within a small team, and collaborating effectively with professionals from diverse nationalities.

Responsibilities

- Lead the frontend development of the new mobile application using React Native, ensuring seamless integration with backend APIs and adherence to finalized designs.
- Develop and maintain the website and admin panel using React.js, focusing on responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Implement features such as state management, component optimization, and cross-platform compatibility between React Native and React.js.
- Work independently to troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues, while supporting a small team in delivering milestones.
- Collaborate with backend developers and DevOps personnel to ensure end-to-end functionality, including API consumption and performance optimization.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for frontend architecture in a startup setting.
- Complete a 2-hour technical assessment to demonstrate expertise.

Requirements

- Experience: Minimum 6 years in frontend development, with extensive hands-on work in React.js and React Native.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in React.js for web applications, including hooks, Redux or Context API, and component libraries (e.g., Material-UI).
- Expertise in React Native for mobile apps, including navigation (e.g., React Navigation), state management (e.g., Redux), and native modules.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, performance optimization, and cross-platform development.
- Familiarity with API integration, authentication flows, and testing tools (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
- Startup Experience: Proven track record in fast-paced startup environments, delivering features independently and adapting to evolving requirements.
- Team Dynamics: Ability to work collaboratively in a small, multicultural team, communicating effectively with colleagues from different nationalities.
- Independence: Strong problem-solving skills to manage tasks autonomously, with a focus on timely delivery and high code quality.
- Communication: Excellent English proficiency for technical discussions and documentation.
- Availability: Immediate start, with flexibility to work Hyderabad hours (IST) aligned with Dubai (GST, +1.5 hours).

Project Details

- Environment: React Native for the mobile app; React.js for the website and admin panel; integration with backend APIs.
- Current Challenge: Finalized designs for a new product require rapid implementation in a startup context.
- Assessment: A 2-hour technical assessment will be provided to all shortlisted candidates, focusing on React.js and React Native implementation, with an emphasis on scenario-based tasks. Completion is mandatory for consideration.
