About us Cube Green Energy (CGE) is a pan European energy transition company dedicated to the build-up of reliable renewable power and accelerating the transition to a zero-carbon economy. With expertise across the project cycle, we develop, repower, construct, and operate wind and solar farms, and invest in the deployment of associated emerging technologies such as battery storage and green hydrogen. We are seeking a highly motivated Wind Resource Assessment and Siting Intern to join our team in Hyderabad, India. The internship will be for 6 months initially with the possibility of converting it into a regular role subject to performance. The Intern will be supporting the investment team with wind resource assessment, micro siting of turbines, and Annual Energy Production (AEP) estimation activities for wind energy projects in the European market. Responsibilities - Collect and analyze wind data from various sources, including on-site measurements and remote sensing. - Run wind resource assessments and site compliance using industry standard software and techniques, specifically for the European market - Estimate the Annual Energy Production (AEP) of wind projects using industry standard methods and bring the results to bankable level. - Communicate the results to the stakeholders by making a report. Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Meteorology, Environmental Science, or Renewable Engineering with basic knowledge of standard wind industry - Knowledge about industry standard software such as WAsP, WindPro, or Windographer - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English - Fluency in any European language is a plus This position offers an opportunity to work on some of the most exciting renewable energy projects in Europe and to be a part of a dynamic and growing team.
