Job Description
About the Role :
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a keen sense of storytelling, and the ability to transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality video content that aligns with brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into polished final content for multiple platforms (social media, web, events, ads, etc.).
- Add music, graphics, subtitles, voiceovers, and visual effects as required.
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, and content teams to deliver videos that meet campaign goals.
- Ensure brand consistency and maintain visual storytelling standards across all projects.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, editing styles, and emerging video formats.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within deadlines.
- Organize and maintain video assets, footage libraries, and project files.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 15 years of professional video editing experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing tools.
- Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.
- Knowledge of audio editing, color correction, and motion graphics.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- (Optional)Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Photoshop.
- Notice: 0 to 15 days of notice period
- Location: Neelankarai ECR, Chennai. Work from office only
Nice to Have
- Experience with 2D/3D animation or motion graphics.
- Knowledge of social media trends and platform-specific video formats (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
- Basic cinematography and camera handling skills.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (Illustrator, Canva, etc.).
