Job Description Job Title:AWS Cloud architect Job Purpose and primary objectives: Cloud Architect Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team): Assist in implementing and supporting cloud implementations on Amazon AWS. - Supervisory / Managerial responsibilities (please specify if the position will have persons reporting to it): Other duties include architecting and implementing cloud solutions for different applications, automating cloud operations and cloud deployment - Other responsibilities Budgets, targets, equipment etc (please specify): Deploy and manage within defined budget, responsible for infra-SLA, Key Skills/Knowledge: Develop and implement ways to deploy workloads to the cloud Work closely with product owners to understand solution requirements and identify architectural patterns Monitor compliance of cloud resources to see if they fit industry guardrails and best practices Help other development and engineering teams resolve application to platform integration issues for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) services Research and propose solutions for AWS data transformation, data connections, operational frameworks. Work closely with lead architects and engineers to create and maintain architectural templates and build/operational documents and SOP's Experience required: Enhance our cloud capability by creating and implementing cloud application patterns Strong knowledge and practical experience with AWS Familiarity with modern cloud application architecture Exposure to cloud managed services and microservices like Function as a Service, Containers, and managed databases Experience with setting up load balancers, cloud networks Strong oral and written communication skills Capable of working under tight deadlines AWS cloud certification - Cloud pricing and effort estimates Additional remarks (if any): Knowledge of linux, Knowledge of networking, and VPN and security Person Specification: I.e. Negotiating client facing, communication, assertive, team leading/team member skills, supportive. Good communication skills, assertive and team player. Flexible in approach
