What we are looking for:

Role:Python Developer

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with a passion for AI to join our dynamic team. You will be instrumental in building and deploying cutting-edge AI-powered products for early-stage startups across diverse industries. This role requires a strong understanding of Python, AI/ML principles, and building scalable backend systems. You will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and optimization.

Location: Coimbatore/Bangalore

Experience Required: 1+ years

What youll do:

- AI-Powered Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems using Python frameworks like FastAPI, Django, or Flask. Implement efficient algorithms and data structures to handle large datasets and complex AI workloads. Leverage asynchronous programming techniques (e.g., asyncio, aiohttp) and worker threads/processes for enhanced performance. Explore and utilize parallel computing libraries like multiprocessing and concurrent.futures to optimize computationally intensive tasks.
- Data Science & Machine Learning: Collaborate with data scientists to integrate pre-trained and custom-trained ML models into backend systems. Implement data pipelines for feature engineering and pre-processing using libraries like Pandas, Scikit-learn, and Dask. Deploy and manage models using tools like TensorFlow Serving, TorchServe, or BentoML.
- AI Agent Development: Design and build intelligent agents using frameworks like Langchain and Langraph. Integrate agents with various data sources and APIs. Develop robust prompting strategies and optimize agent performance for specific tasks. Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate) is a plus.
- API Development & Integration: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using frameworks like FastAPI or Flask to expose AI models and data-driven insights for real-time decision making. Ensure API security and performance through best practices and robust testing.
- Database & Data Processing: Interact with various databases, including relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL, NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Redis, and potentially Big Data technologies like Apache Spark or Hadoop, choosing the right technology for the task. Optimize database queries for performance and scalability.
- Automation & AI-Driven Optimization: Develop scripts and tools to automate data workflows, model training, testing, and deployment. Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development process.
- Scalability & Performance Optimization: Ensure AI models and backend services are highly scalable, resilient, and performant. Implement caching strategies, optimize database queries, and employ load balancing techniques.

Our ideal candidate:

- 1+ years of hands-on experience in Python backend development using frameworks like FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Proven experience building and deploying AI/ML models using libraries like Langchain, Langraph, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Solid understanding of data processing techniques, feature engineering, model selection, and evaluation.
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL databases).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for AI/ML deployment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Brownie points if (Nice to Have):

- Experience with MLOps tools and practices.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML model optimization and deployment at scale.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation (Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
- Exposure to DevOps practices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with vector databases.
