Role Purpose
The ESG Analyst will play a critical role in supporting Swiggy's ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) reporting and data management agenda. The role is designed to strengthen internal ESG capabilities, reduce reliance on external consultants, and ensure high-quality, timely, and accurate reporting aligned with SEBI, BRSR, GRI, and global standards.

Key Responsibilities
. Data Management & Reporting . Collect, validate, and analyze ESG data across business functions (Scootsy + Swiggy). . Prepare inputs for annual BRSR, ESG ratings submissions (MSCI, DJSI, Sustainalytics, etc.), and investor queries. . Ensure accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness of ESG disclosures. . Enable value chain reporting and digitize ESG data management . Compliance & Assurance . Track SEBI, MCA, and other regulatory requirements on ESG/BRSR and ensure compliance. . Establish assurance ready systems and processes across Swiggy's ecosystem. . Support external assurance processes by coordinating with internal teams and auditors. . Maintain documentation and evidence for ESG disclosures. . Cross-Functional Collaboration . Liaise with Finance, HR, Operations, Legal, and other functions to ensure timely data collection. . Act as a point of contact for ESG data owners and support SPOCs in adhering to timelines. . Sustainability Strategy & Projects . Support the design and execution of ESG initiatives and projects (climate action, diversity & inclusion, community engagement, etc.). . Assist in preparing decks, reports, and updates for leadership, investors, and board committees. . Analytics & Insights . Monitor peer and industry ESG performance to identify gaps and opportunities. . Generate insights to strengthen Swiggy's ESG positioning.
Qualifications & Experience
. Education: CA (with audit expertise) / MBA, or Master's in Economics, Statistics, or Finance. . Experience: 1-5 years in ESG reporting, compliance, statutory audit, or sustainability data management. . Strong analytical, data management, and reporting skills. . Familiarity with ESG frameworks (BRSR, GRI, SASB, TCFD, etc.). . Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling. . Ability to work across diverse teams and drive alignment. . Project management skills to manage multiple deliverables under tight timelines. . Proactive, ownership-driven, with a strong commitment to sustainability and compliance.
