Key Result Areas and Supporting Actions

Trend Forecast

- Conduct primary and secondary research on fashion and lifestyle trends.
- Benchmark competitive brands and participate in fairs, markets, and mills visits.
- Collaborate closely with buying and marketing teams; participate in sell-thru presentations to extract key insights.
- Identify footwear/product innovations and ornamentations; consolidate trend forecasts for upcoming seasons.

Season Concept

- Develop seasonal concepts that balance commercial viability and fashion sensibility.
- Reinforce the consumer value proposition and brand promise through the seasonal concept.

Line Creation

- Liaise with Product and Product Development teams to understand costing and commercial feasibility.
- Guide the team to prepare innovative and commercially viable product ideas.
- Present season line/collection to stakeholders.

Tech Packs

- Oversee the creation of quality tech packs and ensure timely uploads on the PLM system.
- Provide strategic intervention to ensure smooth handover to sourcing and product teams aligned with the business calendar.

Quality Sampling

- Lead quality sampling activities.
- Guide collaboration between product, sourcing, and mills teams to meet sampling timelines and deliverables.

New Category Development

- Collaborate with Function Head to identify gaps and explore new value propositions, channels, products, designs, and concepts.
- Ensure alignment with brand identity, fashion experience, and consumer requirements.

Team Development

- Build and enhance team capabilities.
- Promote continuous learning and development within the team.

Self-Development

- Regularly visit mills, fairs, and markets to stay updated on emerging trends and consumer insights.
- Initiate building technical expertise and collaborate with Function Head and other Category Heads to create innovative product lines.
