CDP - Baking and Pastry

CDP - Baking and Pastry is the most senior role in our production unit at Sucrose Overdose, Kolkata. Candidate will be required to ensure a smooth production process and lead the team as a unit to achieve daily targets. Person should have an understanding of modern patisserie/breads/cakes/fondant art. Responsibilities - To ensure daily production targets are achieved - Allocate daily tasks to each person in the team - Ensure and check proper finishing of goods before dispatch to respective outlets - Keep the storage and refrigerators organised and labelled at all times - Ensure hygiene in the production process - Ensure all machines and equipments are cleaned from time to time - Should be able to work with basic excel - Should be able to receive goods from vendors Deal Breaker Requirements - Should know lamination process for croissants - Should know how to work with chocolates - Should know fondant art - Should have basic idea of breads Qualifications - Candidate should have at least 8 years of experience as a chef in the baking and pastry department in the industry - People with formal educational background in baking and pastry are preferred
