Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the Yii 2 PHP framework.
- Integrate databases and create efficient data models using Yiis built-in features or custom SQL queries.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of user interfaces with back-end functionality.
- Implement and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in web applications.
- Implement security best practices to protect web applications from common vulnerabilities.
- Write unit tests and debug code to ensure high-quality software.
- Maintain documentation for code, configurations, and procedures.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and other developers.
- Keep up-to-date with Yii 2 framework updates, industry trends, and best practices in web development.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Yii 2 Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in PHP, Yii 2 framework, and related technologies (e. g. , MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Strong understanding of MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture.
- Experience with version control systems (e. g. , Git).
- Knowledge of web security best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
