Sports Teacher Location Kosi Kalan Mathura Uttar Pradesh India Employment Type Full-Time Posted Date July 15 2025 About Kanha Makhan Public School Kanha Makhan Public School located in Kosi Kalan Mathura is a prestigious CBSE-affiliated institution dedicated to fostering academic excellence and holistic development We strive to create a vibrant learning environment that nurtures students physical mental and emotional growth through quality education and extracurricular activities Job Summary Kanha Makhan Public School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Sports Teacher to join our team The Sports Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging physical education classes coaching school sports teams and promoting fitness teamwork and sportsmanship among students across various grade levels We are looking for a passionate individual who can inspire students to lead active and healthy lifestyles through sports and physical activities Key Responsibilities Plan and conduct physical education classes for students from primary to secondary levels Classes I-X aligned with the CBSE curriculum Develop and implement sports programs that enhance physical fitness motor skills and team-building skills Coach school sports teams in disciplines such as cricket football volleyball basketball and athletics preparing students for inter-school and regional competitions Organize and manage school sports events including annual sports days tournaments and inter-house competitions Assess students physical abilities and progress providing feedback to support their development Ensure the safety of students during sports activities and maintain sports equipment and facilities Promote values of discipline leadership and sportsmanship through sports and fitness initiatives Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate physical education into the school s holistic development framework Maintain accurate records of student participation performance and attendance Encourage participation in extracurricular sports activities to foster a culture of fitness and teamwork Qualifications and Skills Educational Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Physical Education B P Ed or equivalent from a recognized university Master s degree in Physical Education M P Ed is a plus but not mandatory Valid teaching certification e g CTET or UP-TET is preferred Experience Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Sports Teacher or coach in a recognized school Experience in coaching multiple sports and organizing school-level sports events is highly desirable Skills Strong knowledge of various sports physical education techniques and CBSE curriculum guidelines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students parents and colleagues Ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages to participate in sports and fitness activities Proficiency in organizing and managing sports events and tournaments Knowledge of safety protocols and basic first aid in sports settings Fluency in English Requirements Passion for teaching and promoting physical fitness and sports among students Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and contribute to a positive school culture Strong organizational and time-management skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all students Willingness to participate in school events including sports days annual functions and extracurricular activities Salary and Benefits Competitive salary as per CBSE norms and school policies Benefits include provident fund health insurance and opportunities for professional development Access to school sports facilities and resources for personal and professional growth Job Types Full-time Permanent Language English Preferred Work Location In person
