Senior Software Engineer - DMARC Analyzer Mimecast DMARC Analyzer is a cloud-based service that simplifies the complex process of implementing and managing DMARC Domain-based Message Authentication Reporting Conformance policies for an organization s email domains It provides visibility into who is sending emails using an organization s domain helps identify legitimate versus fraudulent senders simplifies DMARC policy enforcement and ultimately protects the brand from domain spoofing and email fraud Help Build the Next Generation of Cloud-Scalable Security Products Have a passion for software security Excel at implementing public cloud at scale Desire to build analytics reporting over a data platform ingesting massive amounts of data This may well be the role for you Our Communication and Collaboration Security products are cutting edge solutions that empower Mimecast customers to Work Protected TM at tremendous scale Why Join Our Team Join us for the opportunity stay and thrive because of the culture and community Mimecasters take pride in building high performing teams that embody the Mimecast Way a code of values that guide how we operate and enable our collective success What You ll Do Design Develop and Maintain Applications Build state of the art services that enable our customers to protect their organizations against modern security threats primarily using Java and related technologies Architecture Strategic Decision-Making Take ownership of the architecture and design of applications making strategic technical decisions to ensure scalability security and performance Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for architectures processes and procedures Collaboration Work closely with Product Management Architecture UX other Developers and SDETs to implement new product features with high quality and on time Microservices API Development Implement and maintain microservices architectures and RESTful APIs ensuring robust integration between system components Database Management Design and manage databases ensuring efficient data storage retrieval and security Code Quality Reviews Conduct code reviews enforce best practices and ensure high-quality maintainable code Mentorship Mentor and guide junior engineers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement DevOps Deployment Participate in DevOps activities including CI CD pipeline setup automated testing and deployment processes What You ll Bring Proven expertise in Java development with a strong understanding of Java 11 and experience in building scalable backend systems Experience in development of microservices using frameworks like spring boot Micronaut etc At Mimecast we leverage the latest technologies including the AI revolution Experience with AI tools like cursor copilot that enhance productivity is highly desired Experience in CI CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins ensuring efficient delivery of high-quality software Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code IaC tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation Demonstratable ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment mentoring junior team members and contributing to a positive team culture Strong communication skills with experience in effectively communicating and providing demo on technical concepts Strong hands-on experience and knowledge of development in Java and Kubernetes is a must In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Cloud Based platform ideally AWS Experience in troubleshooting and debugging of customer issues Good to have experience in software security security reviews and secure coding practices Ideally you should have experience expertise some of the following Java development in a cloud-service or micro-service approach Strong object-oriented programming skills following SOLID principles Experience building REST HTTP microservices in Spring Spring Boot Micronaut Experience using and modifying Gradle based CI CD pipelines Terraform Experience with containerization Docker Kubernetes Experience in AWS particularly DynamoDB S3 CloudFront ElastiCache Redis OpenSearch ECS EC2 load balancing and ASGs CloudWatch Experience building high volume scalable distributed backend services Familiarity with SMTP DNS Domain and Email is a plus What We Bring Join us to accelerate your career while working with cutting-edge technologies and contributing to impactful projects for our customers You will be immersed in a dynamic environment that recognizes and celebrates your achievements Mimecast offers formal and on the job learning opportunities maintains a comprehensive benefits package that helps our employees and their family members to sustain a healthy lifestyle and importantly -
