Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Backend Developer

to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional experience building and maintaining backend services and APIs, with deep expertise in

.NET C#

and relational databases. Familiarity with containerization (Docker), CI/CD practices, and exposure to Snowflake are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities :
Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure

backend services and APIs

in .NET C# (REST/gRPC).
Own data modeling: write efficient

SQL

and design well-structured schemas for relational databases.
Optimize service performance and reliability, focusing on latency, throughput, and scalability.
Implement authentication/authorization, input validation, and other

security best practices .
Build and maintain

CI/CD pipelines ; containerize services with

Docker

and deploy to cloud environments.
Instrument services for

observability

(logging, metrics, tracing) and support production operations.
Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend/mobile engineers, data engineers, and QA to deliver high-quality software.
Integrate with data pipelines and, when needed, interact with

Snowflake

for data warehousing tasks.
Write unit/integration tests and participate in code reviews to uphold engineering standards.

Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years

of hands-on experience in

backend development .
Proficiency in

.NET C# , including API/service development and third-party/system integrations.
Solid experience with

relational databases

(e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and query optimization.
Familiarity with

Docker

for containerized development and deployments.
Experience with

CI/CD

workflows and tooling.
Basic knowledge or exposure to

Snowflake

is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills :
Experience with

cloud platforms

(Azure, AWS, or GCP) and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of

distributed systems

concepts, caching (e.g., Redis), and messaging/queues (e.g.,

AWS SQS , Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Experience with

unit testing , integration testing, and

test-driven development (TDD) .
Familiarity with

infrastructure as code

(e.g., Terraform), API gateways, and OAuth2/OIDC.
Plus:

Experience

publishing APIs to AWS Lambda

(e.g., via API Gateway + Lambda).
Performance profiling and tuning in production environments.
