Job Summary:

Power BI Developer is responsible for creating solutions that support data quality and analysis initiatives and maintaining reports and applications in Power Platform.

Job Responsibilities:

Ability to interpret data, analyse results, and provide ongoing reports and recommendations while building dashboards and reports.

- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in a data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics role.
- Hands-on experience in Microsoft Power BI, M-Query, and DAX.
- Strong knowledge of SQL (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, sub-queries, etc.).
- Comfortable working with workbench tools like SSMS, SSIS, MySQL Workbench.
- Proficiency with Python for data analysis and scripting.
- Understanding of basic statistics.
- Knowledge of Azure or Google Cloud Platforms.
- Experience working with version control (e.g., Git) and Agile teams.
- Strong communication skills; ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.

Academic Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/M.E in Computer Science Engineering)

Experience:

- 4-5 years of industry experience in developing complex Power BI reports. Proficient in writing efficient MySQL queries.
- Should be able to write basic Python scripts.
- Should be self-driven and able to work independently along with the stakeholders located at different time zones.

Good to have Skills:-

- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance within cloud environments.
- Data Pipeline development in Azure Data Factory, Fireflow etc.
- Development experience with Microsoft Power Platform solutions like Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), for data analysis:
- BigQuery
- GCS (Google Cloud Storage)

Other skills and abilities:

- Ability to work in globally distributed setting without much supervision.
- Self-driven, Proactive

This is an office-based position, with the expectation to come in four days a week.
